Holiday villa description:

Our ideal family accommodation is situated in Torreblanca, which is a suburb of Fuengirola. The villa is ideally located as it is close to all amenities, but just far enough if you want to 'get away from it all'. Just a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach, bars, shops, pharmacy, (please note that the return journey on foot is longer due to the fact that the villa is situated on a hill). For the elderly and families with very small children, car hire is recommended, although Fuengirola is less than 5 minutes by taxi at very reasonable fares. The promenade and the beautiful blue flag sandy beaches stretches continuously into Fuengirola where you will find a lovely marina, bars, restaurants, clubs and nice central shopping areas. Other popular towns are easily accessible by train, bus or car, such as Benalmadena (10 minutes), Torremolinos (15 minutes), Marbella (20 minutes), Puerto Banus (30 minutes) and Gibraltar (1 hour). Torreblanca train station is a 15 minute walk from the villa and local trains run frequently from Malaga (including the Airport) to Fuengirola and stop at stations in-between. The trains are clean, air conditioned, safe and the fares are cheap, which makes it a great way to visit the other popular resort towns.

The property has a south facing garden and heated pool which benefits from all day sunshine and is fully enclosed. The swimming pool is professionally maintained twice weekly and is regularly checked for the correct ph and chlorine balance. The pool size is approximately 10 x 4 metres and the deep end is approximately 2.5 metres. The shallow end has Roman steps and is approximately 1 metre deep. Pool heating and filtration is automatically controlled. Also, the pool is conveniently situated close to the living room and next to the poolside bar and BBQ area, so you can keep an eye on the little ones in comfort!

This large Spanish property is well equipped to help make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The villa has a phone line with free local and national telephone calls and free WiFi wireless broadband internet, so you can check your emails from the pool side bar!
The villa is also equipped with a large LCD Television with Spanish and UK Satellite TV that includes all free view channels including all BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Children's and News channels. There is also a DVD and Video player, Stereo radio with CD player.

The pool heating temperature is maintained at an average of 82°F, which is 28°C, although in Summer the sunshine can cause the temperature to rise above this during the day!

The pool is heated by a modern and extremely efficient electronically controlled heat exchanger by Calorex, a British company and Europe's leading manufacturer of air and ground source heat pumps. If used in conjunction with the thermal pool cover, such as overnight, this reduces heat loss and also helps maintain the temperature of the pool. During the summer months, the pool heater does not activate as heating is provided by the sun!

Also why not spend an exotic day or two on the continent of Africa! Just a 45-60 minute ferry crossing to Morocco and the bustling town of Tangiers where you can pick up many bargains!
