Travel from Malaga airport to Fuengirola. How?

Travelling to Fuengirola could not be any easier whichever method you decide. The options are local train, bus, taxi or self drive. As Fuengirola is just a 15 minute drive, a taxi will be relatively inexpensive. The cheapest is by the excellent local trains, which actually terminate at Fuengirola town centre.

Driving directions from Malaga airport:

On exiting the airport, the road splits into two just after the roundabout. The left hand lane takes you into Malaga city. Stay on the right hand lane heading towards Fuengirola and all other points on the western Costa del Sol. Take the exit marked Fuengirola. This takes you into Fuengirola town where there are ample car parks all over the town including several new underground car parks. Driving time from Malaga airport to Fuengirola is approximately 15 minutes.
